Discover Our Country Farm

A Little Taste of Country Life in France

Welcome to the Country Farm at Le Coq Noir Country Style & Living, where a love of animals, nature and rural living comes together.

Nestled in the beautiful French countryside of Deux-Sèvres, our country farm is part of our vision to create a unique place inspired by the charm of traditional country life. From ornamental birds and beautiful waterfowl to our plans for breeding and raising young animals, there is always something to discover.

We believe that animals bring life, character and a special atmosphere to the countryside. Our aim is to provide them with a suitable environment where they can express their natural behaviours, while sharing our passion for keeping and breeding these fascinating animals.

Discover Our Animals

Explore the different animals that are part of our country-living journey.

Ornamental Ducks

Discover beautiful ornamental ducks, including Mandarin ducks in their natural and lighter colour varieties. Admire their distinctive plumage, learn about their origins and follow our journey into keeping and breeding these elegant waterfowl.

Sebastopol Geese

Meet the remarkable Sebastopol geese, known for their soft, curly feathers and distinctive appearance. We are developing our own breeding project, with the intention of raising young geese for fellow enthusiasts and breeders.

Poultry and Other Birds

Our interest in country farming extends to a variety of poultry and ornamental birds. We enjoy discovering traditional breeds, learning about their individual needs and creating suitable spaces for them to thrive.

Breeding with Care

Breeding animals is a responsibility as well as a passion. We aim to focus on good care, suitable housing, appropriate nutrition and the well-being of our animals throughout the breeding process.

As our projects develop, young birds may become available to new homes. Availability will depend on the breeding season and successful hatchings. Please contact us for information about particular breeds and future availability.

Country Living, Naturally

The Country Farm is one part of the wider Le Coq Noir Country Style & Living concept. Alongside our animals, you can discover our passion for gardens, country interiors, brocante and the relaxed atmosphere of rural France.

We are building something that reflects the way we love to live: surrounded by nature, inspired by traditional country life and always finding something new to grow, create or discover.
